The aim of the glass waste processing unit is to treat glass packaging waste contaminated with organic and inorganic contaminants from selective collection, transforming it into a raw material of choice for the glass manufacturing industry.

Given the physical and chemical characteristics of the contaminants that accompany packaging glass from selective collection, our treatment process is based on the different specificities of the contaminants, which are influenced by their physical and chemical characteristics. Our treatment unit is equipped with a sequence of different operations that act specifically on the physical and chemical properties of the contaminants, with the aim of removing them. Once decontaminated, the glass is stored and then shipped to the end customer (glass manufacturing industry).
